Shirley Bertholf has served for 35 years in pastoral ministry alongside her husband, Kirby, in the Free Methodist Church of North America. Toward the end of their ministry, Bertholf felt God’s call on her life and was ordained as a pastor. For the final seven years before their retirement, she served as associate pastor alongside her husband.
Celebrating 50 years of marriage in 2018, the Bertholfs continue to enjoy the blessings of their lifelong commitment, including four children, eleven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. They currently reside in Meridian, ID, after years of ministry service in Washington, Idaho, and Oklahoma.
Throughout her life and ministry, Bertholf has blessed thousands with her anointed messages and music, singing and speaking for retreats, conferences, and worship services. Her passion to spread God’s love and light continues to impact lives worldwide.
In addition to Thoughts to Ponder, Bertholf is the author of several other inspirational works, including a series of nineteen discipleship booklets that cover various aspects of a believer’s walk with Christ.
